Well: it would have been nicer had they said: Virginia had all the gifts; dear old Nessa was a domestic character - Alas, alas, they’ll never say that now.

I haven’t seen this photo before; I love it.
It’s this kind of thing that reminds me that her letters are just as compelling and enjoyable as her novels.
